SEO mistake – How to improve in time ?

There are courses of a bunch of SEO factors that you should check your site for as occasional W3C validation, navigation errors, the sitemap, etc. These errors accidentally cut up and defined only when a problem occurs. Example – If you are using the All in One SEO plugin, in the settings there is an option to specify the template xml file. Now, if you uploaded SEO plugin to a folder after renaming it, then that opportunity fails to load the template and your sitemap will be damaged. Where is if you upload the plugin renaming it without the folder, then there will be no errors. This happens to me sometime back with a different site of mine.

Therefore, basic errors like this is one of the unnoticed and require regular inspection. Some things you mus be checked regularly,

1 – The course sitemap
Check for updates, the frequency settings, unwanted URLs, etc., rebuild the sitemap updated if not implemented, check the sitemap to access Google webmaster if samples are damaged, check the name on the FTP directory and suggest the correct URL.

2 – Broken links
Check for broken links on Webmasters, if you find them, download the entire table and accuracy of them, or suggest a 301 redirect or drag it down from the site.

3 – Title webpage
You know that the title is very important, so they checke for duplications and incorrect code. Sometimes, there may be a clash between the theme code and add that, even two entries occur in some cases. You may want to do a little tweaking code to it.

4 – Meta titles
Of course, the meta title and description as the keyword is not a health also go to help you to decide your SERPs ranks, but the meta description tag is important because it decides is “clickability” on the SERPs. Assuming that your site will appear in the SERPs on the first or second age, if people have to click, the meta description or code should be interesting and attractive. So , make sure you will not use the same meta description for all posts, instead of implementing it exclusive to each article.

5 – Typos in URLs
Yes, I do not know they are errors or not, because some blogs say that they have traffic from typos. But for guys who want to have in place, make sure you check the list of your site on the SERPs for “site:” search and learn more about URL typos. If there are typos, make sure you provide a redirect to the old address to new, before the new update on the Google index.

6 – Dual H1 title etc.
Sometimes the topics of your choice, which can occur two or more H1 tags on a single page is not good. It is always advice you can use standard format of the H1, H2, H3 … H4 decreased by priority of the text. H1′s usually occur only once on a page, but duplication of the rest is fine.

7 – Robots.txt exclusion
Sometimes even when we may be careful to use the robots file to exclude files and folders, by continuous use can have files, and other items that we set incorrectly. Like placing a message into a category that was once banned by the robots file. It is notified to check the robots.txt file once in a while to index problems.

8 – Inline style v / s clash Stylesheet
We all have problems with stylesheets (at least I do) and sometimes we all use inline Styling to be fixed. Excessive use of inline Styling may lead to a bloated code and this can result in a larger file size and browser incompatibilities. It is informed not to use inline Styling a lot, and if you have code that you used, try to combine the stylesheet.

9 – Navigation problems
This is not very common, but happens to guys who have done a lot from moving around and deal with Apache mod navigation. Although there are 301 redirects good use generalized code to redirect unwanted navigation can cause problems to the article that follows. Like a 301 redirect issue for all URLs in a category, which redirect all the articles in the past to redirect.

You can do the check by hand or using a lot of SEO site inspection and verification tools available online. I use this tool to check and of course the Google Webmasters control occasionally.
